This project is being built by, and for, Kevin Tetz of Trucks! TV with help from his friends. The base of this new '66 is a Schwartz Performance Full Frame, with power coming from a freshened, tuned and duel fueled, since the car will run on gas and liquid propane in the future, hand-built Romeo "Terminator" motor, the supercharged 4.6L engine from the 2003-2004 Ford Mustang. Power will be put into the 18 by 10-inch 5-spoke wheels out back, that will be wrapped in P285/35R18 tires, through a Tremec T56 Magnum transmission.

Schwartz Performance is proud to have had our chassis picked as the base for such a unique build. This car definitely fits into the typical Schwartz mold of wild, crazy and way out there cars. This build will show just how much extra room our newest chassis can add to your engine bay, and what that can allow you to use as a powerplant in your classic Mustang.

When completed, this car will be found cruising the streets and tearing up the autocross courses all across the country. Stay tuned because you just might see this beauty taking on our own "Temptress" in an autocross near you!

Schwartz Performance will be in Hot Rod Alley in booth 23379, and we hope to see you there. The 2010 SEMA Show will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting on November 2nd and running until November 5th. It is only open to those in the automotive industry, but never fear, we will be posting TONS of pictures from the event and you will be able to see this car elsewhere after the show.

Despite having a significant HP deficit, Jeff Schwartz and the Temptress pulled off a 3rd in the first day's Road Course Competition behind 2 DSE Camaros.
Chris Jacobs in his Schwartz Chassis equipped, D&Z Customs built Chevelle, led the Autocross for some time and also posted the fastest time in the Speed Stop Challenge.

Although the Temptress doesnt take the win, it is the quickest GM A Body at the event.
After Friday's runs are tabulated, The Schwartz Performance 1965 Pontiac Tempest aka the "Temptress" has the fastest time of the day at the Nashville Goodguys Autocross, besting all the DSE Equipped Camaros.
Saturday Update. The Temptress is moved to the Participant class by Goodguys officials since Schwartz is not an exhibiting vendor at this show. (Schwartz is a Tremec Distributor and was displaying the Temptress in the Tremec booth.)
When Saturday's results are tabulated the Schwartz Tempest driven by Jeff Schwartz ends up 3rd,
the Fastest GM A-Body car at the event.
